Allgemeine Infos: Trades
Trades:
- Only Rookie Draft Picks from this and the coming year can be traded
- Startup draft picks (for Veterans) are traceable. But every teams MUST have the same amount of start-up picks as a base
- Players after the start-up draft are traceable right away
- A trade is just valid when both GMs accept and post it in the forum
- Both GMs should give a short comment why they are doing the trade.
- After, trade reviewer will give an evaluation for the trade in a veto is possible
- A veto will only be given, when the trade is clearly on sited. All the other GMs want to have the league competitive and trades can have a negative effect for the league.
- latest 48 hours after the trade is done, it will be valid and put in on fantrax and in the league file.
How to post a trade:
- Example for a trade post: Philadelphia (+) / Los Angeles (-)
- it doesn't matter which team has the + or -. This is only to make it easier for trade reviewer to rate the trade
- The post should look like this:
Philadelphia sent:
QB Tom Brady, NE (Contract: $8.0 to 2019)
Los Angeles sent:
RB Matt Forte, NYJ (Contract: $6.5 to 2018)
- Name of the player, Position, Team and contract details should be in the post
- Draft pick trades must be clear, which Team, which year
- If you want to put conditions on the trade, this has to be postet right away. Changes from trades is not allowed.
Scaling of trade assessment:
- Trade reviewer will give a short statement about the trade. (after both GMs confirmed the trade)
- Not every trade reviewer has to review the trade and make a statement, but the more the better.
- If a trade is near a veto, then we need all the trade reviewer discuss the trade and find a solution
- If a trade reviewer consider a trade he can ask others for help and they should find a settlement
- The scaling goes from 0 -99
- Additional the trade reviewer has to give a + or - for the team the reviewer thinks wins the trade
0 : Win-Win-Trade
-15 to +15: One team has a slightly advantage in the trade
-30 to +30: One team wins the trade and his franchise will get better
-50 to +50: One team wins clearly the trade
-65 to +65: Veto. This trade is bad for the league or one team looses the trade extremely
-99 to +99: Big Veto. Who agrees to this kind of trade don't know the game or is complete insane!
Example for a trade review:
+35
I think New York will win this trade. Brandon LaFell is a good WR, who will get targets from Brady. On top of it the salary cap is really low. In return New England will get a solid LB, but the FA market is full of LB in his caliber. For this, you shouldn't gave up LaFell (no veto)
