Kick Returner? Goodwin is the clear #1 WR in SF and with Garopollo he has now an QB who actual can throw the ball. Garopollo came in for the last 5 Games and connected with Goodwin, without any pre-season programs etc. No he has the complete summer to practice with him. With 3 year contract in this league he is the cheapest option on the market.
Depth Chart Status (See Full Depth Chart) #1 Wide Receiver Marquise Goodwin Pierre Garcon Trent Taylor Aldrick Robinson Kendrick Bourne Victor Bolden DeAndre Carter
After four lackluster seasons with the Bills, Goodwin received a two-year flier from the 49ers last March and didn't disappoint, no matter who was under center in 2017. Working with Brian Hoyer, C.J. Beathard and Jimmy Garoppolo at various points in the season, Goodwin easily paced all San Francisco wideouts with 56 receptions (on 105 targets) for 962 yards. In particular, Goodwin's production was powered by 46 first downs (tied for 14th in the NFL), which offset just two touchdowns. More than two months removed from a concussion suffered Week 17, he'll enter the new league year with security financially and a steady hand at quarterback in Garoppolo.
He will easily reach 1000yards this season. So who you calling a Kick Returner?
Burfict best season he had 171 tackles (114 Solo 57 Ass) - if he plays (ok he had injuries but so had any other LB) NE wanted him in this trade.
Last years #15 pick was Zay Jones - do you compare Zay Jones to Goodwin??

Gentlemen, I wanted Goodwin because he's emerging and a number one on San Fran, good long term contract.
I also need depth at linebacker and Vontaze Burfict is an All-Star when not suspended or unhealthy, with him missing the first four games I can sit him on the bench and reap the benefits later. I don't understand what the problem is, as Pat mentioned he's getting a lotto ticket @ 15 where he could hit or miss, give him two roster spots. Reply back once this is read by the powers that be. Cheers

i still don't like it... yeah, goodwin had somewhat of a better year in 2017, but before that never finished a season without missing games. we are talking a top 15 pick here... you name zay jones, i give you alvin kamara, deshaun watson and juju smith schuster who were picked afterwards... as i said, burficts value is slim to none in a trade if you ask me, and you did... so i am looking at it like this... 900yds, 2TDs for a top 15 pick? jermaine kearse had a better fantasy season than him... so i gotta go with BUF -50... i am free to letting jojo change my mind about this one though...

Thank you esteban - I just wanted a first review from someone. I also want jojoj9 to make his review because both of you stated earlier you both going to review every trade. To your point about draft picks. I get that Watson an Co. were picked later then Jones, but exactly there is the drop in value. You do not know what player you get in our Rookie Draft especially we are drafting right after the real NFL Draft. We do not have news in Off-Season programs, OTAs etc as well as injuries. I see value in #15 pick but it is a gamble. Goodwin, you know what you get (see statement from @pattydanlges) The reason why I kind of push for a review is, I wanted to bid on Luck, but now I couldn't because of a) Roster spots and b) Cap. I do not want to miss out on a couple of other players. Thanks

I agree completely with Cem here. He topped 100 Rec Yards 3 Times all season... had rec 2 TDs for the year (1 with Grap)... ans their real #1 WR Garçon was injured. Plus add a 4 game suspension to the already mentioned issues of Burfict. (-50)

And to add on to the whole draft pick thingy: Yeah there is a drop on value when you pick a player and dont know what you picking until the season is underway, however you can use the draft picks to get higher draft picks. That’s where the value is pretty damn high...

That’s where the value is pretty damn high... I think you guys are putting to much value into draft picks in general. Draft picks in real NFL are gambles and the gamble in fantasy is eve higher. In the same kind of league I took K.White #3 OA in the 2015 Rookie Draft. What did he do and what he will do for me? Big gamble... injuries etc. I think especially you must know playing college level, college and the NFL are two different leagues. How many great college players had 0 success in the NFL? Ok, the chance to get a stud on #15 OA is good, but I think having to know what Goodwin is capable to do with Hoyer and Beathard was ok - but Garopollo is a different kind of QN - and he proved it.
